Benoît Lachambre will appear in a new work to be presented from November 12th through 15th at l’Agora de la Danse, entitled 6,3 Évanouissements. Created by Catherine Tardif and Michel Côté, the piece will be a “pooling of different talents and imaginations for the creation of a new grammar.” 6,3 Évanouissements invites six faithful co-creators to the dance, giving them a unique carte blanche. One by one, they are asked to both perform, and then choreograph. On the stage, in a minor or a major mode, they perform – as needed – a variable-geometry part. In evanescence as with the weight of the falling body, the only imperative they have for the composition is “fainting.”

On stage along with Benoît Lachambre: Fortner Anderson, Marc Boivin, Sophie Corriveau, Michel F. Côté and Catherine Tardif.

This is a Danse-Cité production in collaboration with Et Marianne et Simon, and co-presented with l’Agora de la danse. November 12-14: 8:00 PM, November 15: 4:00 PM.
