On the occasion of the performances of Hunter by the Berlin choreographer Meg Stuart at Usine C, the Goethe-Institut is inviting the public to a screening of the film Before We Go by Jorge León.
In this movie, dancers and choreographers Benoît Lachambre, Meg Stuart and Simone Aughterlony meet Lidia, Michel and Noël who are already enfeebled by age. All are prepared to live a unique experience in the sumptuous setting of the Opéra de la Monnaie. In an unexpected manner, both physical and lyrical, Before We Go, raises the veil on a still taboo subject – the end of life – while using all art forms to create a true homage to life and to human fragility.
